ERIS Consulting, a Japanese consultancy firm, is specialized in providing advisory and business supporting solutions, involving corporate legal affairs, human resource and management strategy, to our clients most of which are giant Japanese company listed with first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, on their business operations in China and Southeast Asia emerging markets. Our consultants and lawyers are always focusing on problem-solving for our clients, by maximizing local resources in practice. Our China operation based in Shanghai has successfully completed more than 800 practice cases for clients since its establishment in 2001, and in April, 2013 we started our operations in ASEAN.
Support for the architecture and construction of human resources management and personnel labor management systems including job description standard, post qualification system, job-based grade system, payroll system, performance appraisal indicators, MBO, recruitment & employment management, personnel shift & relocating management, labor time & leave management, education & training management, career planning, labor environmental management, trade secret management, risk management, etc.
Support for the operation of human resources management and personnel labor management systems including overall integrated HR management covering single operation units throughout China, dismissals & layoffs, handling of internal scandals, standardization and management of HR documentation and procedures, calculation of payrolls and compensations for dismissals & layoffs , calculation of income taxes and social insurance fees, etc.
Support for the legal-procedure compliance of internal regulations and work rules including legal democracy procedure compliance, negotiation with labor union and employee representatives, etc.

Satoshi Tachibana
Mr. Tachibana was employed by the headquarter office of TOSTEM Corporation (now: LIXIL) in Tokyo after graduating from Waseda University, Japan. He then joined the UK’s Reuters and served as the Regional Japanese Corporate Market Manager in China and East Asia from 1994 to 2000, while he was expatriated to Shanghai and Hong Kong. He founded ERIS Consulting after his resignation from Reuters in 2000, working as the general representative and chief consultant until now.
He received an MBA degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2007; a LL.M (Master of Laws) degree from Fudan University Law School in 2008, and; a LL.D (Doctor of Laws) degree from East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPSL) in 2013.
He has given lectures of over 1,500 hours since 2007, with 13,000+ participants in total and more than 120 middle-level cadre trainees, earning a reputation almost second to none in the field.
